Immersive analytics: An overview

Abstract Immersive Analytics is concerned with the systematic examination of benefits and challenges using immersive environments for data analysis, development corresponding designs that improve quality efficiency analysis process. While technologies are now broadly available, practical solutions haven’t received broad acceptance in real-world applications outside several core areas, proper guidelines on design such still under development. Both fundamental research bring together topics questions from fields, open a wide range directions regarding underlying theory, evidence user studies, tailored towards requirements application areas.
